There are lovely homes, chic homes, tasteful & classy homes, and then there are those that blow all the others away. When I first saw photos of
Kelli Ford's Dallas home, I was rendered speechless. With the help of her sister Kirsten Fitzgibbons, this power-twosome created a pied-a-terre rich with color, full of incredible design, a bit of whimsy and a few traditional touches that all come together with seamless perfection. Every room is full of surprises and small details that are mixed and matched to shine brightly. This might just be my dream home, or as close to it as I've ever seen.

ReplyDeleteThe veranda and the outdoor fireplace almost killed me with their perfection. I love how grand and opulent everything is, but I do think this is too much house for me. I don't know how I would keep it all clean!
ReplyDeleteOH my! You're right, all the little details is what really takes this house to the next level. The ikat wallpaper in the dining room and the entire blue living room with ethnic inspired wallpaper and drapes are my favorite.

ReplyDelete@Erin - I love some grandeur too, but as with so many of the houses I see these days, they are way too big for anyone to live in, let alone clean! I really love the outdoor areas too..dreaming of some gorgeous patio furniture!
@Theresa - I think my favorite room in the house is the dining room. That ikat wallpaper with the bold mirror and luxe chandelier...love how everything comes together! And that blue room..no words. So genius!
